OPGW and OPPC cables

Fiber optic cables in ground wire (OPGW) or in phase conductor (OPPC) of high voltage power grids
•    Typical construction: 1C1, 2S1, 2S2, ...
•    Fibers: G652, G655 or mixed
OPGW is always applied to high voltage networks which have ground wire as its replacement, while OPPC typically is applied on HV lines with only 3 (phase) conductors as a replacement of one of them.
